Traci L. Sklarchuk
Is a loving mother and animal enthusiast. Traci has owned all sorts of pets including exotic fish, horses, birds and dogs. As a teenager she took her first dog to obedience lessons which started the ball rolling towards her entering a professional dog training course. Traci has now been teaching obedience and behavior modification for over 10 years. She has been teaching agility for over 9 years and flyball for more than 5 years. Currently, she competes in agility with her two beloved cattle dogs. Che, a five year old male, is a three footed speedster that is excelling as an agility and flyball companion. Cue, a seven year old female, has several achievements including her Gold Award of Merit and three podium placements at the BC/Yukon Regional Championships. Traci takes great pride as a dog agility teacher and handler.
Glenn Tiede
Glenn is an avid agility participant who brings his knowledge, focus and determination to his teaching. He is also an AAC certified masters judge. Glenn enjoys doing agility with his four dogs: Cole, Shasta, Meg and Billy Bob. For Glenn, agility is a family affair and is proud that his sons have all shown interest and ability as dog handlers themselves.
Steve Spencer
Size 12 shoe and Steve occasionally runs like a clown, tripping over his own feet. Steve has always had dogs at home and only discovered agility in 2006, when he took up this great team sport with Sasha. At the 2010 Regional Championships Sasha and Steve managed a fourth place finish. Having played team sports his entire life, Steve has combined this with 30 years of experience training people in the restaurant service business and started teaching agility in 2008. Steve is a loving husband and father of 4 girls that are all very supportive of his passion for agility. Steve tries to learn something new everyday and continues to work with his mentors Glenn and Traci. Steve feels he would not be where he is with Sasha without his coaches and is a testament to the philosophy being taught at TAG.
April Statz
April started agility in 2008 with her Sheltie Linkin. Through the nurturing TAG environment April and Linkin immediately blossomed as a team and April realized that she had found her home away from home. This team competed at their first Regionals and Nationals this year and would like to thank the TaG family for their help in achieving a 7th place finish in Calgary. April brings a love of teaching and a background in behaviour management. With her latest addition, a 1 year old Sheltie named Rynn, she is looking to bring her husband into agility as well. Now that her 2 children are at University she loves to fill her time with training, teaching and competing.
